Colorado EV Incentives & Savings
Major utilities offer time-of-use rate plans that can significantly lower home charging costs for electric vehicle owners. All-electric vehicles are also exempt from the state's emissions inspections, simplifying annual vehicle ownership requirements.
Colorado EV incentive programs
Colorado currently has no state-level EV incentive programs for consumers. The federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit (Section 30D, up to $7,500) expired September 30, 2025 and is no longer available for new purchases. The federal 30C residential charging credit (30% up to $1,000) remains available through June 30, 2026.
