Pennsylvania EV Incentives & Savings
Public charging stations are increasingly available along the Pennsylvania Turnpike and other major travel corridors. Colder winter temperatures can impact an electric vehicle's battery performance and reduce its typical driving range.
Pennsylvania EV incentive programs
Pennsylvania currently has no state-level EV incentive programs for consumers. The federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit (Section 30D, up to $7,500) expired September 30, 2025 and is no longer available for new purchases. The federal 30C residential charging credit (30% up to $1,000) remains available through June 30, 2026.
Check back periodically — states frequently introduce new EV programs as adoption grows.
