Tennessee EV incentive programs

Tennessee currently has no state-level EV incentive programs for consumers. The federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit (Section 30D, up to $7,500) expired September 30, 2025 and is no longer available for new purchases. The federal 30C residential charging credit (30% up to $1,000) remains available through June 30, 2026.

Check back periodically — states frequently introduce new EV programs as adoption grows.
