Arkansas EV Incentives & Savings
Electric vehicle owners pay an additional annual registration fee to help offset road funding from gas taxes. Some major utilities offer residential customers rebates for home charger installation and special rates for off-peak charging.
Arkansas EV incentive programs
Arkansas currently has no state-level EV incentive programs for consumers. The federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit (Section 30D, up to $7,500) expired September 30, 2025 and is no longer available for new purchases. The federal 30C residential charging credit (30% up to $1,000) remains available through June 30, 2026.
